Partial discharges monitoring is of great importance because this phenomenon is one of the best indicators of incipient insulation degradation failures, providing a warning against insulation failures that allows equipment owners to plan and adopt actions before a fault occurs.
Partial discharges measurement can be performed off-line as part of routine testing at machine stops. On-line measurement, is most advisable, and is performed during normal operating conditions, the measurement can be periodic with a Portable Discharge Analyzer portable or continuous with a permanent monitoring system.
OSLINGER provides partial discharge sensors, monitoring equipment and software, as well as staff training.
